This will run every summer in the lead up to the Competition and is open to all dancers – they don’t necessarily need to be applying for the competition too.

For vocational and pre- vocational dancer’s this is an ideal opportunity to harness those important performance skills with a wide variety of repertoire and solos being taught by special guest teachers, alongside performance opportunities throughout the week, occurring in the state of the art Theatre.

The timetable will consist of everything a young dancer needs today within a glorious setting that creates a calm and productive sense of purpose. Lifelong friendships will be made and staff will be invested in each and every dancer attending.

The solos classes will take on the set solos from the competition list as well as further guidance across the week which will be threaded throughout the daily ballet classes, contemporary, Pointe work, Body conditioning, stage craft and

Pas De Deux. There will also be visiting Masterclasses and mentors.

Teachers are very welcome to observe should they wish.

This fantastic week will culminate in a full demonstration for all in the theatre followed by awards and optional picnic in the grounds!

Groupings are set on the year group they will be in in the Sept following the course however we will assess according to the application photos the best level for each dancer so they all can achieve their maximum stretch across the week.
